We have chosen to divide them into "Charm" and "Wire" markers. But they are commonly also divided as: Ring Stitch Markers and Locking Stitch Markers, or as Place Markers and Slip Markers.

These markers are very handy when handling your knitting or crochet projects. As they can be used in a variety of ways, to mark Starts and Stops in patterns, or to easily keep track of the number of stitches or rows you have so far.
